Turning anti-smishing card-news images into a quiz

This case reads the text in seven Korea Consumer Agency card-news images and turns the material into three multiple-choice questions and two O/X questions about impersonation smishing and prevention.

We selected non-overlapping questions that could be verified against the source from three generated sets. Time-sensitive wording was clarified, and questions about reporting contacts that may change were excluded.

From source to result

How card-news images become a mixed-format quiz

The images stay in sequence while text is extracted, then non-duplicative questions are selected from multiple runs and checked against the source for accuracy and time context.

  1. 01

    1. Upload seven images

Prepare images 01 through 07 in order so the card-news narrative remains intact.

  2. 02

    2. Extract visible text

Read the statistics, impersonation methods, message precautions, and daily prevention tips.

  3. 03

    3. Generate and curate candidates

From three generated sets, retain distinct questions whose answers are visible in the source.

  4. 04

    4. Verify and add time context

Recheck figures and answers, identify the source as a 2022 publication, and omit volatile details.

Source-comparison results before publication

Each selected answer can be checked directly in the card news, and the set balances formats and source topics rather than repeating one fact.

  • The counseling figures preserve the source values: 2,516 for 2020 and 11,080 for 2021.
  • The impersonation-method question says “according to the 2022 card news” so historical wording is not mistaken for a current trend claim.
  • Multiple-choice items cover figures, scam behavior, and security measures; O/X items cover message handling and requests for personal information.
  • Answers and explanations were compared again with the card-news text to avoid changing the source’s meaning.
